First morning of 2012

Walking back home from Meiji shrine….
both me a Phoe-Lo were at this point rather drained after partying the whole
night, and no food since about 11 hours ago  …
and as I said my brains weren’t connected, I was all wired after meeting all
these wonderful people in Shimokitazawa ,
that I was just laughing and acting really wired… or weird… ha ha
I was just not able to be a good guide this morning <(^,^)>
Hence I totally screwed up the time with walking 1,5 rounds in Yoyogi koen
ha ha ha
and of course same thing on our way OUT from Meiji shrine area,
I just couldn’t focus, so instead of coming out on “my side” of the shrin,e
we got out on the totally opposite end ha ha
But…. we got some nice walking done this first morning of the first year
in Tokyo!

6:30 am at the Shrine 01.01.2012

Since I live not far from the Meiji shrine and Yoyogi Koen, we went
straight there from the party in Shimokitazawa, or well almost,
Luckily I still had my brains somewhat connected, so I went up and
changed to a warmer jacket, because the alcohol would most certainly
soon wear off…
Problem was that upon leaving my place, I was still too wired to be able
to think, so we totally took the wrong path and in the park ended up
walking around the whole thing… 1,5 rounds because ….
because I was still wired and happy and needed to calm down
before we came to the shrine I think, and yes maybe also sober up a bit.
Poor Phoe-Lo, I admire her for her patience with me!
I do know she had a fun night too though…
it WAS a super, amazing, wonderful,
New Year’s Eve it really was…
and here we are at the shrine around 6.30 am

A Pink Web on our way to the Meiji Shrine

a Pink Spider Web…
on our way to Meiji Shrine just after we left the party
A…. spider web…. they are always there on occasions like these….
We had talked about hide the whole night,
we had his photo in between us when we were drinking at the bar,
so there I am walking, more than a little bit tipsy, around and around in Yoyogi koen to sober up a bit before going in to the shrine….
when I look up and saw this.
The wee hours of 2012, just before the sunrise…

Kids

Walking Southbound on the West side of Yoyogi Park

……When we are KIDS  I think we are so totally absorbed with
the moment that we are somehow on auto-pilot and for
everything and everyone else, besides ourselves, there are ‘the others’
whether it be parents, siblings, friends, or just the general unidentified
crowd of others
